As we move into the second half of 2025, it’s a new and exciting chapter for RDA Pilbara.
Our commitment remains unchanged: we continue to work closely with governments and local communities to deliver initiatives that foster sustainable and socially inclusive regional development.
But we do so with a new-look team.
We’re thrilled to welcome our recently appointed CEO, Daiva Gillam, who has already hit the ground running. Building on the strong foundation laid by her predecessor, Tony Simpson, Daiva brings enthusiasm, energy and a strategic and collaborative approach to her leadership.
Daiva has already left a positive impression with key stakeholders, and I encourage anyone who hasn’t yet connected with her to reach out at ceo@rdapilbara.org.au.
In addition, we have a refreshed and expanded RDA Pilbara Committee.
A heartfelt thanks to our outgoing Committee Members - John Lally, Chantelle King and Robby Chibawe - for their valuable contributions.
We warmly welcome five new additions:
Claire Boyce
Devon Cuimara
Fran Haintz
Michelle Radley
Audra Smith
With Ryley Heap, Mark Bradley, Peter Long and Sean-Paul Stephens reappointed to Committee roles, we have a well-rounded, diverse and highly experienced group to help shape RDA Pilbara’s future activities. Our expanded committee now represents a broader range of Pilbara communities, which is important for the work we are undertaking.
I’m excited to work alongside Daiva, her dedicated staff, and the Committee to advance our contribution to the Pilbara’s ongoing development.
Everyone involved is deeply committed to supporting equitable outcomes for all people in our region.
By listening to our communities, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, tackling challenges and opportunities, and advocating with purpose, RDA Pilbara can have a powerful impact.
